When is the best time to post content on social networking sites?

Social Networking has increased exponentially over the last few years and businesses looking to reach more people have taken to social networks like a duck to water. Having such platforms to work with can massively improve your company’s awareness but are you wasting your time? Did you know that the time and day you post to social networks can have a huge difference in you generating more traffic (to your website) and leads, we have put together a small article to show you when the best time is to post on twitter and Facebook.

So when should I post on:

The optimal time to share your content is between the hours of 1pm and 4pm, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. The highest peak is recorded at 3pm on Wednesdays.

The best time to tweet about your exciting new business offer (or other content) is shown to be between 1pm and 3pm, Monday through to Thursday.

When shouldn’t I post my content?

Evidence shows that Facebook and Twitter do not seem to generate a lot of click through links over the weekend and between 8pm - 8am during the week, Bitly claims that writers/editors are wise to wait. Tweets also be avoided after 3pm on a Friday.

To conclude the best time to post of Face and Twitter is early afternoon (1pm – 3pm), midweek.
